When I think about the struggles of this world, I can get pretty overwhelmed. Can't you? There are so many things to worry about and try to fix. It honestly feels crippling sometimes.

That's when I take a deep breath and think about Teddy Roosevelt's quote, which inspired my run in the first place:

Do what you can

with what you have

where you are.

When I think about the campaign for State House, I focus in on the legislation I can impact if elected. No, I can't make Donald Trump and his Project 2025 goals go away, but I can work to ensure that the take over of the Republican Party by Free State Project agenda does not succeed here.

My priorities, then, are:

  1. Fully funded public schools - "Public dollars for PUBLIC education"

  2. Common sense property tax reform

  3. Affordable housing to attract young families and keep seniors in their homes

I think of it as...

What I can do

with what I have

where I am.
